Jason Freiji

Jason is the Financial Analyst for the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine, the Division of General Medicine, the Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology, the Division of Hospital Medicine, and Georgia Gear.

As the Financial Analyst, Jason completes monthly financial reports, advises on short and long-term financial planning, works to complete annual budgets, and creates internal division reports and strategies. Additionally, he works with our researchers and the Department of Research Administration to maintain grant monetary compliance while assisting in creating budgets for grants. Jason also works on special projects for the department and divisions as needed.

Jason has been working at Emory University for 3 years. Before coming to Emory, Jason worked in accounting, financial reporting, and auditing in the private sector.

In his free time, Jason enjoys cooking and travel.
