Torrie Brantley
Graduate Assistant
Torrie is Program Assistant for Georgia Gear. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Alabama A&M University and is currently receiving her MPH in Epidemiology from Emory University, where she wants to focus on social determinants of health. Torrie is passionate about connecting her love for biology with her interest in public health to create a positive impact on marginalized communities.
In the past, Torrie has done research through the Research in Aging through Mentorship and Practice program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she researched health disparities among aging populations.
In her free time, Torrie loves yoga, learning how to cook, and enjoying the company of her pet rabbit.
